Rei Makoto Concert “Flare” — Three Livestreams! Thank You, Umegei!

I’m calling this what it is: a rescue plan for us ticketless fans of Rei Makoto’s concert.

It’s already generous to offer a livestream at all — yet this time we’re getting a bold three performances streamed. 💕

I picked up the announcement from Umeda Arts Theater, but the livestream news didn’t include the distributor’s name.

Who’s handling the stream?

That detail really should be stated clearly.

Dear Umeda Arts Theater, please include it next time.

Every so often the provider turns out to be a platform I almost never use.

I actually once realized right before showtime (not Takarazuka-related) that it was on an unfamiliar service and had to scramble to register.

Not fun.

This time, since it’s Umeda Arts Theater, I’m guessing it’ll be the usual suspects like Rakuten TV or U-NEXT—but we’ll see when they announce it.

On top of the three online streams, one of the performances will also have live viewing in movie theaters.

That’s pretty great coverage.

As for me, I plan to watch at home via livestream.

I’m not sure I’ll catch all three, but since they’re on a weekend it’s entirely possible to watch every one… which is, frankly, a delicious temptation.

Why This Makes Sense

For a star at Rei Makoto’s level, a first solo concert with limited dates and venue capacity was bound to leave many fans without tickets.

In that light, this “go big” streaming plan feels perfectly reasonable — and very welcome.

Meanwhile, I’ve entrusted a tiny hope to the final ticket lottery — the last chance to see Kocchan live at the theater.

Do I think I’ll win? Not even a sliver.

So yes, my head is already full of livestream plans.

If I win, lucky me. If I don’t, I’ll still have the streams.

Being able to think that way already feels like a blessing.
